Real voices from the ground—experiences of impact, partnership, and lasting change with MADE-Nepal

"The support from MADE Nepal and LWF, along with technical assistance from the Ward Office, enabled our community to repair vital water drainage canals that had long caused flooding and disruption," said Janak Lal Chaudhary, Chairperson of Sisai CDMC. "This collective effort not only protected 45 households from flood and soil erosion but also restored children’s access to school during the rainy season," shared Tara Gurau, a disabled CDMC member. "Thanks to this initiative, farmers now have renewed hope for better harvests and a safer future."

""Before, I had no idea what malnutrition was—until my child suffered from it and received treatment at the local health post," shared Ramagyan Harijan, a daily wage worker from a poor Dalit family in Pratappur-6. "Through MADE Nepal and Action Against Hunger, I joined a farmers group, learned about nutrition and vegetable farming, and received Giriraj chicks that are already growing well." She added, "This small support has given us hope, knowledge, and a path toward a healthier future for our children."
