Climate Resilient Agriculture
Public Private Partnership
Capacity building of person and Institutions

Introducing climate-smart farming practices, water-efficient irrigation systems, crop diversification, and soil conservation techniques that help communities adapt to changing weather patterns.

Fostering sustainable livelihoods through agriculture, eco-tourism, education, nutrition, and disaster resilience for inclusive rural development.

Advancing Equity & Social Justice

Promoting gender equality, social inclusion, and human rights through policy advocacy, leadership development, and inclusive community engagement.

Real voices from the ground—experiences of impact, partnership, and lasting change with MADE-Nepal

"The support from MADE Nepal and LWF, along with technical assistance from the Ward Office, enabled our community to repair vital water drainage canals that had long caused flooding and disruption," said Janak Lal Chaudhary, Chairperson of Sisai CDMC. "This collective effort not only protected 45 households from flood and soil erosion but also restored children’s access to school during the rainy season," shared Tara Gurau, a disabled CDMC member. "Thanks to this initiative, farmers now have renewed hope for better harvests and a safer future."

""Before, I had no idea what malnutrition was—until my child suffered from it and received treatment at the local health post," shared Ramagyan Harijan, a daily wage worker from a poor Dalit family in Pratappur-6. "Through MADE Nepal and Action Against Hunger, I joined a farmers group, learned about nutrition and vegetable farming, and received Giriraj chicks that are already growing well." She added, "This small support has given us hope, knowledge, and a path toward a healthier future for our children."

“As Ward Chairperson of Susta Rural Municipality–3, I had long witnessed the suffering of Harijan Tole residents due to seasonal waterlogging and poor drainage,” shared the ward president. “With technical collaboration from our office and financial support from MADE-Nepal, we were able to construct a culvert through a joint agreement.” He added, “This partnership has brought real change—now the water flows smoothly, mobility has improved, and we’ve taken a strong step toward community resilience.
