MADE-Nepal (Mukti for Agricultural Development and Environment Nepal) is a community-driven development organization committed to empowering marginalized communities through sustainable livelihood promotion, disaster risk reduction, education, and environmental conservation.

Position Summary:
The Livelihood Program Officer will be responsible for the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of community-based livelihood interventions. The role includes supporting income generation activities, agricultural development, enterprise promotion, and strengthening value chains with a focus on women and marginalized groups.


Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement livelihood-focused community development plans.
Provide technical support in agriculture, livestock, and off-farm enterprises.
Facilitate capacity-building trainings and market linkage development.
Coordinate with local government bodies, cooperatives, and other stakeholders.
Ensure timely reporting and documentation of program progress.
Monitor activities for sustainability, inclusion, and impact.

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in livelihood or rural development projects.
Strong knowledge of community mobilization and value chain development.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Willingness to work in remote, rural communities.
