On August 5, 2024, MADE Nepal held a one-day Municipality Level Project Advisory Committee (MPAC) meeting at the Bharatpur Metropolitan Office, focusing on the stakeholders of Chitwan district. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the “Transboundary Community Flood Resilience Project in South Asia” to local stakeholders. The event was attended by 22 participants.
The meeting was facilitated by Ms. Panchamaya Tamang, officer from the Social Development Section of Bharatpur. Deputy Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan, Mr. Chitrasen Adhikari, chaired the meeting. Mr. Min Raj Bhandari, Executive Director of MADE Nepal, presented the objectives of the project and detailed the associated activities.
