Transformational changes through wash services in Nawalparasi

Project Feature:

WASH project was implemented in Nawalparasi west. Arsenic and iron were the major problem in Nawalparasi west and to overcome that situation an intervention was made to provide clean drinking water to community and public institutions. A high raise deep boring with minimum depth of 100 feet was installed in fifteen different locations of Pratappur rural municipality. The importance of hygiene is even more justified in those COVID 19 situation. Maintaining hand hygiene and importance of correct hand washing procedure was highlighted in the community. The WASH infrastructures were renovated and constructed in schools to make sure all the students have access to basic WASH infrastructures. Beside that hygiene related trainings to pregnant and lactating women were conducted to make them aware about the diseases which are mainly transmitted due to improper hygiene.
